A BRIDE hates her wedding photographs so much she is having them digitally altered on a television show.
Joanne Hackett, 33, will have the pictures airbrushed by computer experts on the Richard and Judy show on Channel 4 tonight.
She married Stuart wearing a dress three sizes too small just before Christmas, at Hartforth Hall, near Gilling West, Richmond, North Yorkshire.
The size 12 dress was the only one available after Darlington bridalwear firm Manhattan House's assets were frozen. The firm told Mrs Hackett, then Joanne Stott, that her original size 18 choice was not available.
The mother-of-three was distraught when she saw the pictures.
"I just hated the photos. I was not happy with the way I looked at all,"she said.
The invitation to join Richard and Judy came after the pictures appeared in a national tabloid newspaper last Sunday.
"I said to Stuart, if I go on the show at least we'll have some nice pictures," said Mrs Hackett.
The couple, from Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, hit the headlines in The Northern Echo in December when they decided to take 21 family and friends on their honeymoon.
But the two-week trip to Tenerife was hit by problems, including the couple's uncle getting mugged.
Now Mrs Hackett, a care assistant, says she wishes she could hold the whole wedding again - minus the mishaps.
