THREE generations of a North-East family, including a grandmother, have been arrested on suspicion of dealing in £50,000 worth of amphetamines.
Cleveland Police raided two houses in Middlesbrough on Monday and arrested seven people, aged between 17 and 56.
They are suspected of having been dealing in the class B drug from properties at Basildon Green, Pallister Park, and Portman House, Brambles Farm.
Drugs squad officers recovered a kilo of unadulterated amphetamines and three kilos of the drugs, which had been cut ready for sale on Teesside's streets.
Detective Constable Graham Fletcher, of Cleveland Police, said: "We are delighted with yesterday's results. Yet again, officers have removed dangerous and illegal drugs from the community as part of our Dealer a Day operation.
"Dealers can rest assured that we will continue to cause as much disruption as possible and our attempts to rid the streets of Teesside of these substances will be relentless."
Anyone with information about drugs is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
