BUSES began publicising the Sure Start West Redcar programme yesterday.
Ten Arriva buses operating from Redcar bus station to routes across Redcar and east Cleveland and Middlesbrough carry the Sure Start message.
Jan Croudace, Sure Start West Redcar's community development co-ordinator, said: "We think this is a great way of telling people we are here and what we provide."
The logos of both Sure Start and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are on the buses with the message: "Sure Start - making a difference to you and your family". The West Redcar programme helps families in the Kirkleatham and Newcomen wards and is aimed at families with children aged up to four and mothers-to-be.
