AN exhibition celebrating the life and works of a North-East artist are to go on display.
The Man and His Mark exhibition, staged at Bishop Auckland Town Hall's McGuiness Gallery from Monday until May 10, will remember artist Ben Johnson, who died last year.
Mr Johnson studied Fine Art at the College of Art and Industrial Design in Newcastle and went on to work at Raby Woods, where Lord Barnard loaned him a cottage to use as a studio.
Mr Johnson spent much of his time transforming the windows of the Bath House, a building directly opposite his cottage studio.
