A JAMAICAN man was last night being questioned by North-East police following his arrest in London for a triple stabbing.
The 22-year-old suspect was arrested in Peckham, London, by police on Sunday in connection with a knife attack on two Afro-Caribbean women and an Afro-Caribbean man at a house in Middlesbrough last month.
Following his arrest he was transferred to Teesside and was being questioned by Cleveland Police yesterday.
The two women, aged 26 and 27, and the man, aged 25, received serious stab wounds during the incident at a house in Albany Street in the early hours of Monday, March 17.
A number of arrests were made in the days following the assault and about 30 officers had been working with the Met to find the suspect.
