TWO aspiring radio broadcasters have taken to the airwaves with Hartlepool's latest radio station.
Suzanne Martin and Les Watts, both from Hartlepool, have joined the line-up at Pool FM 107.5
Sixteen-year-old Suzanne, who is studying for her GCSEs at the town's High Tunstall School, opened her first radio show on Pool Fm with a weather forecast.
Mr Watts is well known throughout the town as a club and pub DJ.
Station manager Donny Hughes has invited other aspiring broadcasters to submit a voice cassette and CV to the studio in Bar Pool Fm, beneath the Sports Bar in Park Road, Hartlepool.
He is also inviting Hartlepool United fans to sign a message board at the studio wishing the team luck in its promotion drive.
He said: "You could be signing up to a piece of history, as we will be presenting the club with the board at the end of the season when hopefully, Hartlepool are Division Three champions.
