A WALL of decorative ceramic tiles has been unveiled at Ferryhill Comprehensive School.
The project involved students working with a professional artist as part of a bridging project. Judy Caplin, who works with Sedgefield Borough Council, first worked with the children when they were in their last year of primary school. She returned to complete the project with the same pupils, who are now in Year 7 at the comprehensive.
The children designed, made and fired their own tiles, which were on the theme of buildings.
The mosaic is on permanent display at the school.
