A HEALTHY lifestyle course which has proved a success in the Sedgefield borough is being made available to Spennymoor residents.

The Passport to Health course will start on Wednesday, April 30, at Hartley Terrace Community CareLink House from 1pm to 3pm.

The course is free and will take place every Wednesday for eight weeks and will include activities to help people to a healthier lifestyle.

Activities include healthy cooking and tasting, with a free recipe book, gentle exercise, complementary therapies and information on how to cope with stress, foot health and basic first aid.

Lisa Nevens, Passport to Health co-ordinator, said: "The courses are very popular and often over-subscribed. People always tell us how much fun they have and they really enjoy tasting the food.

"Anyone living in Spennymoor and the surrounding area is welcome to come along and enjoy the fun. It promises to be fun-filled but also very informative."
