THE Guisborough Cycling Initiative will hold its first annual meeting next month.
The group promotes cycling for short journeys as an alternative to the car, and is chaired by Les Thomson, director of sport at Laurence Jackson School, in Guisborough.
Acting secretary Janet Easley said: "We have had a busy first year and this is the chance to review what we have done and plan ahead. One of our main aims is to increase membership."
Anyone wanting to join the group, or to serve on its executive committee, is asked to contact Ms Easley at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's development department, on (01287) 612544. Committee nomination forms must be returned by Monday, April 28.
The group's annual meeting will be held in Laurence Jackson School's Priory Room, on Tuesday, May 13, at 6.30pm.
An exhibition outlining its work will be on show in the room from 5.30pm, when refreshments will also be available.
