The Buck Inn, Maunby, is holding a race night and auction in aid of Hospice Care and the local branch of St John Ambulance.
In the past two years, the night has raised almost £3,000 for charity, and organiser Jeff Barr hopes this year's event will do just as well.
The event begins at 8pm on Saturday, April 26, and will feature four races and the auction.
A £30 prize will be on offer to the winning owners in each race. Horses cost £5 each and there are six horses per race.
Items pledged for the auction include a romantic evening for two, rugby match tickets, clay pigeon shooting, Wimbledon stationery, Grand National brandy glasses, a day's sailing on Windermere and a pet portrait.
