Guisborough Heritage Day will be marked with two guided walks on Saturday, April 26.
In the first, participants will discover more about the geological history of Guisborough Forest. The six-and-a-half-mile walk includes a steep climb and is expected to last about three hours.
The second is 12 miles long and will last six hours. It will examine Guisborough's industrial heritage and will include Rockhole Quarry, Blackrock Quarry, Highcliffe Nab and Belmont mine.
Both walks start at St Nicholas' Church in Guisborough at 10am. Walkers should take a drink, packed lunch, waterproofs and stout shoes.
