A NORTH-East venue will play host to one of pop music's biggest names this summer when chart-topping band Blue come to the region.
Organised by Teesside radio station 96.6TFM, the boy band will be appearing at Ormesby Hall, Middlesbrough, on July 4.
Their first Teesside gig will also include support bands Liberty X and Big Brovaz.
Cath Ellington, managing director at 96.6TFM, said: "This is a major coup for us and for Middlesbrough. We are delighted to be bringing one of the most successful and best-known bands in the country to Teesside.
"The boys have a huge following and I would expect fans from all over the region, and probably the country, to descend on Ormesby Hall for this massive outdoor concert."
Tickets can be bought online at www.wayahead.com, or via the 24 hour ticket line on (0115) 912 9000.
