A £4,000 grant has helped people sleep easier in their beds.
Easterside and Saltersgill Community Council, in Middlesbrough, was awarded the money from the Community Support Fund to spend on security equipment for homes.
Items include dusk-to-dawn lights, carbon monoxide detectors, timer switches for lights, door chains, spy-holes, window and door alarms, personal alarms and ultra violet marker pens.
Anyone who applied for the security measures but has not yet picked them up, can collect them from the Edra building, in Broughton Avenue, on Thursday, from 7pm.
