A North-East punter was last night studying the form books, looking for the horse that could win him another £140,000.
Norman Evans, a mature student at Durham University, is still celebrating after scooping £163,000 with a £4 bet when he picked six winners in the Tote's big Saturday bet, the Scoop6.
Now he has the chance to take his total winnings to £300,000 if he selects the winner in the 3.05pm handicap at Kempton this afternoon.
Norman will be in the stands for the big race after the Tote treated him and his family to an all-expenses-paid weekend.
The family spent last night in a plush London hotel and will feature throughout the day on Channel 4's live racing programme The Morning Line.
"I have until 1pm to pick my horse," said Norman yesterday.
"Then we'll see how my luck is holding up.
"I've already been incredibly lucky - winning £163,000 then having an all-expenses-paid family trip to see my race.
"Having said that, I'm not going to turn it down if I win again!"
Last weekend's winnings are already banked, and, by virtue of that win, he was asked to pick another winner in a nominated bonus race.
Norman, who has two children and lives at Norton, Teesside, plans to give up his university course if his horse romps home today.
