ILL health may have forced Alan Hinkes to call off his latest mountaineering trip, but Tyne Tees viewers can follow one of the climber's earlier exploits on Tyne Tees Television.
Good Karma tells the story of Hinkes' successful attempt on Annapurna.
Northallerton-born Mr Hinkes reached the top and returned safely in one week - and kept a video diary.
The result is screened on Tyne Tees at 2pm on Sunday.
Mr Hinkes is returning to Yorkshire, abandoning an attempt to scale Kanchenjunga in the Himalayas after contracting a chest infection.
The peak is one of two he has yet to climb before he can claim to have completed Challenge 8000, which demands he conquer all 14 of the world's peaks higher than 8,000 metres.
