Poverina took a big step to the title with a 3-0 victory over Redcar Glazing and a single point at home to Lingdale will give them the title. Goals from John Anderson, John Pinchbeck and Richie English proved too much for a resilient Redcar Glazing.
Jack and Jill proved too strong for Big W and ran out 8-1 winners. A Keith Jenkins hat-trick, a Wayne Crockett a pair and one each for Devin and Lee Duckling and Paul Tonner proved too much for Big W who could only reply with a single from David Eagles.
Iceland just edged out Priestfields by the odd goal in three and it needed an own goal to secure it. Steven Owens put Iceland ahead but a cracker from Darren McPhillips put Priestfields on terms but an unfortunate own goal from Sean Joseph gave Iceland the points.
SIFC thought they had won their first game of the season when they led Lingdale 3-2 into injury time but a bizarre free kick gave Lingdale a share of the spoils.
