YOUNGSTERS in the Hambleton district are being urged to put pen to paper this Easter.
The district council's housing team want children to enter a competition that will help to promote the homelessness service.
Children are being encouraged to design a poster to highlight the work of the housing advice and homelessness service. Youngsters from the ages of ten to 18 can enter. There is a £50 prize for each of the three age category winners.
The winning posters will be displayed in leisure centres, libraries, post offices during the summer.
To enter contact the housing services division on (01609) 767176 or post entries stating name, age and address to the Housing Services Manager, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton, DL6 2UU. The closing date is Friday, April 25.
