A SHOPPING centre has gone continental, with a concertina-playing French busker.
The cross-channel accent of Pierre, the strolling street musician is as false as the strings of onions and garlic suspended from his belt, and his impossible moustache.
But Pierre, real name Andrew Teeman, from Leeds, is an accomplished musician who is visiting shopping centres throughout Britain.
Over Easter, he entertained families shopping in the Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough, and clowned for the children, as part of the mall's programme of Easter activities.
Professional musician Mr Teeman, who also plays in a band, is entertaining shoppers in Southend next weekend.
