A LOVABLE dog who is good with children and other pets needs a home.
Benson, a greyhound boxer cross, has been left homeless after his owner's circumstances changed.
The eight-month-old pet is being looked after by the National Animal Sanctuary Support League in Darlington.
The league is looking to rehome him with a family who can take him for long walks and spend a lot of time with him.
Spokeswoman Pauline Wilson said: "Benson is really lovely and has a fabulous personality. He has a lovely nature. He gets on really well with other dogs and he would make a good companion.
"Someone who was at home all day would be ideal, but he would not really suit someone who is out of the house for more than four hours at a time."
Benson has been neutered and vaccinated. Anyone interested in adopting him is asked to call (01325) 321855.
