Sedgefield is to host a drama festival featuring three award-winning plays.
Sedgefield Players will be competing against two theatre groups at the North-Eastern divisional final of the All England Theatre Festival of One Act Plays.
The players will perform The Trial, by Anthony Booth, the winning production from the Sedgefield Festival.
Also taking part in the competition will be Ferriby Dramatic Society, winners of the Humberside Festival with Me and My Friend, and York Festival winners the Rowntree Players with Bogey.
The three groups will be competing for a place in the Northern area final.
The performances will be staged in Sedgefield Parish Hall on Saturday, May 3 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £5, with concessions £4.50, and are available from Selections, Sedgefield Players' members, or on (01740) 620000.
