VILLAGERS are asked to give their views on environmental improvements proposed for a former colliery community.
Regeneration officers, part of Durham City Council's SRB6 Team, have been formulating plans for Sherburn Hill for the past two years.
Villagers have identified three areas which could be improved. Plans have been drawn up showing the proposals for Bannerman Terrace, Front Street and waste land at the village crossroads.
Local people can give their views in a consultation session at Sherburn Hill Community Centre, on Monday, from 2.30pm to 9pm.
