Annandale Hotel v Redcar Mack. Park: The two teams battled out a close fought game on a poor pitch with chances few and far between in the first half, most of the play taken up with a tense midfield battle. Mackinlay Park started the second half brightly and took the lead when Bennions lobbed Bliwert from the edge of the box. This forced Annandale to reshuffle and they drew level on the hour when Starling bravely slotted home despite a heavy challenge from the Redcar keeper. The poor pitch meant further chances were limited and it was no surprise that the winner came from a set piece, Ayres netting direct from a free kick. Annandale pushed forward in an effort to equalise but found man of the match, Stuart Wood, in the Redcar defence in fine form, allowing the visitors to hold on and take the three points.
