A Darlington charity is looking for volunteers to work in the community.
The town's branch of Mencap is looking for people of all ages with learning disabilities to carry out voluntary work, with support from the charity's staff.
Anyone interested needs to fill in a form and attend a meeting to discuss what type of voluntary work would be most suitable. The work is unpaid, but has led to people gaining employment.
A spokesman said: "The voluntary group has had a great response and we currently have 30 volunteers."
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer, or who would like more information about the work, can contact the group at The Courtyard, Edward Pease House, 12A Market Place, Darlington, DL1 5PW, or by telephone on (01325) 486449.
