People can try digital imaging software, create their own art work and get involved in the demonstration of a digital city, when the BBC and the University of Teesside team up for a training day on Friday.

CALL FOR PLAYERS: A call has gone out for people to take part in an exhibition of table-top war games. The Spring Offensive has been organised by David Clemmet and Tom Davidson, and will take place in Stockton Sports Centre, Talbot Street, Stockton, from 10am on Saturday.
COMPETITION WINNER: John MacPherson, from Thornaby, won the table-top football game held at the town's Asda store on Saturday. He has the chance to play in a national final to be held at Manchester United's training ground in July.
NEW CARE HOME: Hartlepool Borough Council has received an outline planning application from Hadrian Healthcare Group to build a residential care home on land in Jesmond Gardens at the junction with Heather Grove.
