A SCHEME that helps Northallerton residents get to their medical appointments and daycare facilities has seen an increase in users for the third year in a row.
But the rising number of users has led to organisers struggling to meet demand and they are now recruiting volunteer drivers.
The town's Social Car Scheme provides drivers to take people to their appointments or day centres if they are unable to use public transport.
For details about becoming a volunteer driver, with expenses paid, call Dawn Carter on (01609) 780458.
