FUNDRAISERS at the Butterwick Hospice are urging people to go yellow next month to raise funds.
As part of Hospice Awareness Month, hospices around the country are inviting people to take part in a yellow activity day.
Staff at the Butterwick Hospice, in Stockton, are asking schools to compete against each other and see who can make the longest golden chain of coins.
They are also asking people to wear yellow for the day.
Sarah Eldon, fundraiser at the hospice, said: "The more outrageous the costume the better. This is one of the most important dates of the hospice calendar, with hospices all over the country getting involved."
