FORMER pupils of a village school are being asked to help with an anniversary.
High Coniscliffe Primary School, near Darlington, will celebrate its 40th birthday on Saturday, June 14.
A display of pictures from the early days of the school, work by past and present pupils and even the school's old punishment book will be among the attractions at a fair taking place from 2pm to 5pm.
Other activities will include a falconry demonstration, pony rides, gifts, craft and cake stalls, bouncy castle and a tombola.
Headteacher Tom Lumley, who has been at the school for nearly 20 years, said: "We want to hear from pupils who may have old pictures, or other memorabilia."
Anyone who can help is asked to telephone the school on (01325) 380725.
