A SANCTUARY for owls has welcomed two arrivals.
Kirkleatham Owl Centre has taken in a host of animals, which were mistreated or unwanted by their owners in the past. Now one of them, a goat named Hope, has given birth to two kids.
Hope was picked up by centre director Gill Whalley after she was injured when attacked by a dog. Gill said: "We now have two Shetland ponies, two sheep, a lamb and goats, including the two new arrivals."
