A 39-YEAR-OLD man was being interviewed by police last night after an armed siege at a house on Scarborough's South Cliff.
Officers were called to a domestic dispute on Saturday night and were confronted by a man with a kitchen knife who was threatening his partner inside the house.
The woman and her children managed to escape.
Police wearing protective vests and carrying riot shields stormed the house, supported by armed officers and dog handlers.
A man was arrested inside the house and was helping police with their inquiries last night.
