A TINY patient, who survived thanks to the special care baby unit at Northallerton Friarage Hospital, returned with a thank-you gift of £2,500.
Jack Wilson's mother, Annette, raised the money through a number of events including raffles, auction and a pantomime collection.
The cash will go towards oxygen saturation equipment for some of the unit's youngest patients.
Sister Anne Wall said: "We are really grateful to Annette for all her efforts and we are delighted to see Jack again looking so well and to receive the cheque from him."
