Losing a mobile phone would be similar to a bereavement for almost half of young people, says a report out yesterday.
Research by Henley Management College found that 46 per cent of 25 to 34-year-olds cent "could not live without" their mobiles. They found three groups of mobile users: the cyborgs, who could not remember life without a mobile; prosthetics, who use mobiles to organise their lives; and connected but unattached, who use them mainly for work or emergencies.
