MORE than 100 fare-dodgers on the Tyne and Wear Metro ended up in court thanks to a crackdown.
The 112 people, who were all caught last month, have been named and shamed by Nexus, which runs the Metro, after they were found guilty of evading fares.
They were ordered to pay a total of £14,495 in fines and costs, and will have their names printed at stations.
