TV presenter Luke Casey put his best foot forward to launch Hambleton Strollers.
The Tyne Tees Dales Diary presenter joined more than 70 members of the group for a walk around Northallerton.
The Strollers are part of a national 'Walking the Way for Health Initiative,' which aims to get more people walking regularly while meeting new people and seeing new places.
The group is spearheaded by the Countryside Agency and British Heart Foundation, with extra funding from the New Opportunities fund and Kia cars.
The group has set up a network of walk leaders and mapped out walks around Northallerton and villages. Its aim is to cover Hambleton, and later to provide maps of the routes for self-guided walks.
