MUSIC fans can relive their glory days at a North-East venue, thanks to its new website.
The new-look website for Newcastle City Hall goes on-line today and features a revamped memorabilia page, split into sections representing the Sixties, Seventies, Eighties and Nineties.
So far, the Sixties page only includes details about one concert, by Delanie and Bonnie, and the webmasters are keen to track down any memorabilia from some of the big names that played the venue during that decade, including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.
Staff would like to hear from anyone who has old ticket stubs, programmes or even photographs from the era.
City Hall manager Peter Brennan said: "We are determined to see the City Hall thrive as a venue well into the new millennium. In order for us to do this, we must promote it using the very latest technology.
"Our previous website was a good first step in this direction, but the new one is even better, with an eye-catching design that features some of the legendary acts who have played here.
"I am sure the website will continue to play an important role in the City Hall's future and, who knows, we may see some of the acts we are promoting now included in the memorabilia section in years to come. Keep hold of those ticket stubs and programmes."
