KEEN walkers will be striding out in Wensleydale later this year for the county's Boots and Beer Walking Festival.
The region made famous by television's All Creatures Great and Small will be swamped by 250 participants brandishing their walking boots and a pint of Black Sheep beer.
The festival caters for a wide range of fitness and experience levels, providing a series of gentle strolls and strenuous walks through stunning parts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The popular event is organised by Brasher, walking specialists, and the Black Sheep Brewery, Paul Theakston's independent brewery at Masham.
The walking weekend takes place between September 12 and 14.
A £30 ticket includes a Boots and Beer Bash with live entertainment, supper, Black Sheep ale and a charity auction.
