THE Northern Echo has joined forces with Cancer Research to promote its annual Race for Life challenge.
On Sunday, July 13, hundreds of women will walk, jog or run a 5km course around South Park in Darlington to raise money for the cancer charity.
The Race for Life has been taking place all over the country for the past ten years, but it is only the second time there has been a Darlington race.
Everyone who registers for the event is given a race number and The Northern Echo is offering one reader the chance to wear the number one on the day.
As well as getting the most sought-after number in the race, the winner will be entered into the event free, so all they will have to worry about is raising sponsorship.
To be in with a chance of winning the number one badge send your name, address and phone number to: Race for Life competition, The Northern Echo, PO Box 14, Priestgate, Darlington, County Durham, DL1 1NF, with the answer to this: Which charity organises the Race for Life?
