ORGANISERS of Saturday's Medieval Fair at Sedgefield have appealed for transport for the May Queen and her attendants.
Jenny Dovaston, nine, and her companions Amy Miller, Kirsty Smith, Paige Challans and Courtney Brown will start the celebrations by leading the parade of floats through the village.
The Queen is usually chauffeured on a decorated float and has once ridden in a horse-drawn trap, but this year no carriage can be found. The parade sets off at 9.45am and prizes are awarded for the best turnout.
Anyone who can help with transport is asked to contact John or Maxine Robinson on (01740) 620042.
