Darlington Primary Schools Football Association is hosting its first festival.
Hundreds of young footballers will take place in the festival, which starts on Saturday with the annual Schools Cup Final.
This year's final, involving 26 schools and 260 children, will take place at Longfield Comprehensive School.
On Wednesday, May 21, the Darlington Schools Football League finals will take place, also at Longfield School.
Since last September, 24 schools have competed for the title and the best four will take place in next week's final.
Next Wednesday will also see the first Darlington Girls' Football Championships, involving 130 girls.
Finally, on Thursday, the Darlington Primary Schools Town Team, who have already won two county cups, will go for the hat trick when they play Bishop Auckland in the final of the Derwent and Medomsley Trophy.
Paul Bielby, from the association said: "We are delighted to see so many Darlington children taking part in primary school football. The tremendous enthusiasm and enjoyment displayed is wonderful to see and now the girls have the opportunity with their own championships."
