IF you fancy being Poleaxed, trying a Fursty Ferret or supping a pint of bright green ale, Richmond's newest pub is the place to be this week.
The Ralph Fitz Randal, in Queen Street, hosts its first real ale festival of the year all this week. Potent brews on offer include Black Pig, Chocolate Stout and Old Growler.
"There's already been plenty of interest from regulars," said landlady, Norma Hardisty.
"But even those who don't usually drink real ale can try before they buy; better that than waste a pint."
The festival opened last night and runs until Friday. Norma said: "If customers like some of the ales, then there's a chance we'll keep one or two on tap over the weekend."
