HOTEL health club bosses have come up with a lifechanging offer for three Wear Valley 'fatties.'
Staff at the Manor House Hotel in West Auckland, want to help them lose weight and get fit by giving them free personal training and a six month membership to their luxury health club and spa.
Health club manager Craig Saunders and hotel manager Angela Thomas came up with the idea after reading of a teenager's weight battle in our sister paper The Northern Echo.
Jonathan Wallace was told by his doctor in Hartlepool that he would die if he didn't lose half of his 31 stone bulk.
Now Craig is looking for other overweight people who are desperate to shed their excess pounds. He said: "We will give three people a six month membership and a personal training programme which altogether will be worth hundreds of pounds. For us, it is an opportunity to do something for the community by putting something back."
Applicants should write to the Manor House Hotel, The Green, West Auckland, explaining in a few words why they want to change their lives.
