A MAN arrested and charged in connection with Tuesday's robbery at Scalby Mills service station, in Burniston Road, Scarborough, faces several other charges.
He appeared before Scarborough magistrates yesterday charged with three further robberies - two in Manchester and one in Bridlington - possessing a firearm with intent to resist arrest, two ramraid burglaries and one other burglary.
Four other people were arrested in connection with Tuesday's robbery.
One man will appear before Scarborough magistrates today charged with two ramraid burglaries. A second man was released on police bail until May 23 pending further inquires. A third was released without charge. The fourth person, a 24-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of robbery on behalf of Greater Manchester Police. She is in hospital and police are waiting to interview her.
