A JACK Russell terrier has found a new home at the National Canine Defence League (NCDL) in Darlington.
Kenco, the rescue dog, will live at the Rehoming Centre in Sadberge as one of the charity's sponsored dogs.
Three-year-old Kenco arrived at the centre last year after his owners could no longer care for him.
The Sponsor a Dog Scheme enables dogs, who may find it difficult to be rehomed, to live permanently at the Rehoming Centre and be sponsored by members of the public.
Donations of £1 a week will provide food, bedding and veterinary care for the dog.
Anyone who helps Kenco will get regular news letters, Valentine and Christmas cards from him.
They will also get a lapel pin, a certificate and regular copies of the NCDL's magazine Wag! Sponsors will be able to visit Kenco, send him treats and take him for walks.
