NEW calendars giving details of a kerbside paper recycling scheme in the Hambleton district are about to be issued to all residents.
However, until they arrive, people are urged to continue putting out their blue bags on collection day - unless it falls on a bank holiday when it will then take place two weeks' later.
About 20,000 homes in the Hambleton area, including Northallerton, Thirsk, Stokesley and Easingwold, are being served by the collection scheme, which is operated on behalf of Hambleton District Council by Yorwaste Limited and Todd Waste Management.
Anyone not taking part in the scheme who would like a blue bag to put paper in, are asked to call (1609)785450.
