A NEW show is taking a fresh look at one of the great Gilbert and Sullivan shows.
The exhaustingly-titled Farndale Avenue Townswomen's Guild Operatic Society's Production of The Mikado is a comedy operetta by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr.
Staged by Hutton Rudby Village Hall Choral and Dramatic Society, from Wednesday to next Saturday, it follows the Farndale ladies' efforts to stage The Mikado.
The doors open at 7.15pm each night. Tickets, costing £5, are available from Janet Tibbett on (01642) 700449.
