A 21-YEAR-old Iraqi-Kurd denied the attempted murder of another asylum seeker when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court yesterday.
Hemen Abdullah Fetah pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of Shakawan Ali Muhammed on February 23 and denied a second count of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Mr Fetah, of no fixed address, who spoke through an interpreter, was remanded in custody pending his trial.
