A COLLEGE choir has chosen a new, more up-to-date look, which will help make them stand out when they perform in Paris later this year.
The chapel choir at Harrogate Ladies' College had their say on what they want to wear and chose a light-blue blouse and a black, straight skirt.
The new clothing will keep the girls looking smart when they perform at their many public engagements this year, which include a show in Notre Dame in October and broadcasts for Radio 4.
"The outfit was chosen to present a fresh, modern approach which would suit every choir member, irrespective of height or hair colour," said a college spokesperson.
"However, the choir members will still wear their traditional cassock-albs for religious ceremonies."
