A LURCHER crossbreed is in need of a new home.
Six-year-old Sandy, which has started suffering anxiety attacks when left alone for too long, needs a home where it will have human company most of the day.
Pauline Wilson, of the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL), said: "She needs to be rehomed because she can't be left for more than about two hours - anything after that and she becomes distressed - so she needs someone at home for at least part of the day.
"She is very good with children and gets on with cats and other dogs. She is a really nice dog - but she just isn't happy being left for very long."
Anyone who is interested in giving Sandy a home is asked to call NASSL on (01325) 321855 or 07748-268822.
