POLICE are hunting a gang of youths who left a teenager with facial injuries following an unprovoked attack.
The 16-year-old was walking near the cricket pavilion at Smiths Dock Park, Normanby, Teesside, at 9.45pm on Friday when he was beaten by three older youths.
He was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital where he was kept in for treatment.
One youth was wearing a dark top with white writing across the chest, while another, 5ft 5in tall, wore a cream or yellow top and had close-cropped fair hair.
They were joined by a girl with long blond hair, wearing a white jacket with fur around the hood.
All were in their late teens or early twenties. Anyone with information is asked to call police on (01642) 301935.
