A MUSUEM was adorned with colourful blooms as part of a club competition.
The Dunelm Flower Club, which celebrates its 21st birthday this year, held its bi-annual competition for members at the Durham Light Infantry Museum and Durham Art Gallery, for the second time.
Club chairwoman Margery Miller said: "There were pedestals, modern arrangements and traditional arr-angements, and each class had its own title. Members of the public could see the flowers on display for most of the day."
The event was rounded off with an evening concert and buffet. In September, the club will hold an anniversary dinner at Trevelyan College, Durham.
