TEESSIDE Hospice is holding a 21st anniversary fashion show lunch today, featuring local designers.
It is being held at Marton Hotel and Country Club between noon and 3pm, with doors opening at 10.30am for pre-lunch drinks. Fashions from Sarah Jane, of Guisborough, and Panache, of Norton, will be on show, as well as stalls of jewellery, satin and silks. Admission is £11 per person. To book, call (01642) 355866.
BUFFET LUNCH: Redcar and District Friends of Cancer Research UK are holding a buffet lunch tomorrow at Saltburn Cricket Club. Tickets are £7.50. They are also holding a sponsored walk in July, ending with a bar meal. Anyone interested in joining either event is asked to call (01287) 634571.

GOODS NEEDED: Volunteers at The National Kidney Research charity shop, in High Street, Redcar, are appealing for people to donate unwanted goods. Clothing, furniture and books are particularly needed. Anyone who has anything to donate is asked to call (01642) 493663 to arrange collection.
SOCIAL MORNING: Wolviston Townswomen's Guild is holding a social morning on Wednesday, May 28, from 10am to 11.30am at the Community Centre, Wolviston Court, Billingham. Items to be discussed include proposals for a town council for Billingham.
TENNIS EVENT: Acklam Tennis Club is inviting people of all ages, ability and backgrounds to a free tennis session at their new courts, at Kings Manor Sports College, in Hall Drive, from 10am to noon on Thursday, May 29.
